The Institute provides a variety of workshops, courses and programs tailored to fit the specific needs of participants. We can also design special programs to meet the specific needs of clients and organizations. We also offer organizational consulting and development work, either through the Institute or through our Certified Associates.
All our programs focus on helping participants learn how to use the Transformational Communication Skillset® and apply these tools effectively across a variety of situations and relationships – at work, at home or in the community.
Our cognitive and experientially-based process helps participants integrate in a personally-relevant way profound, broad-based learning experiences. Participants change on many levels as they develop new ways of thinking and speaking, new attitudes and behaviors.
At a cognitive level, these skills can be taught and understood in a matter of three to four hours. Their successful application, however, requires that they be integrated experientially into a person's knowledge. This requires replacing communications patterns that began forming while one was still in the womb with new ways of thinking, perceiving and speaking.
- This learning and integrative process is akin to the difference between watching a video that analyzes Tiger Woods' golf swing, and in being able to replicate that swing consistently, under a variety of conditions, in one's own game. This type of learning can only be achieved experientially, over time, through practice and repetition.
